At the heart of my mentorship philosophy is the belief that every individual can benefit from guidance and support, regardless of their career stage or background. I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of mentees at all different stages of their career, and all different backgrounds.  I frequently work with individuals who fit into one of these three profiles:
  • Launcher: You’re out of college or a bootcamp, coming into the professional world for the first time
  • Switcher: You’re switching careers and transitioning to UX from a different field
    • Adjacent fields I’ve worked with: architecture, industrial design, graphic design, web dev
    • Non-adjacent I’ve worked with: law, finance, consulting, education, nursing, hospitality
  • Climber: You’re an experienced designer looking for career growth or a career move

My subscription plan consists of three key components: regular live video calls, unlimited offline support via email, and customized written guides. Regular live video calls, which provide a dedicated time and space to discuss your progress, challenges, and goals. The second component is unlimited offline support via email, which allows you to receive personalized feedback and guidance on your work and career development. Finally, you'll receive customized written guides that offer actionable steps and strategies to help you make meaningful progress towards achieving your career aspirations. These three components work together to provide a comprehensive and effective approach to career mentorship.

To provide you with maximum flexibility and choice, I offer three distinct mentorship plans: light, standard, and pro. The key difference between these plans is the frequency of our live video calls, which varies based on your needs and preferences. Most of my mentees begin with the standard plan, which provides a great balance of support and guidance. As we progress through your mentorship journey, we'll continue to adjust and refine your plan to ensure that you're receiving the level of support and engagement that's right for you.

Once you express interest, I'll be in touch within 24 hours to schedule an introductory call. During this call, we'll discuss your career goals and aspirations, as well as any questions or concerns you may have about the mentorship process. To ensure that my services are a good fit for your needs, I'll also ask you to fill out a UX career worksheet. This helps me gain a better understanding of your background, skills, and goals, and ensures that our mentorship relationship is as productive and beneficial as possible.

The free introductory call is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to share your goals and aspirations. Before the call, you’ll fill out a UX Worksheet. During the call, we'll discuss the UX worksheet and what you hope to gain from our mentoring relationship. Additionally, I'll answer any questions you have about my mentoring approach, my experience, and my availability. The call typically lasts 30 minutes and is conducted via Google Meet. It's a chance for us to see if we're a good fit for each other and if my mentoring services are right for you.

Discovering my mentorship style is just a few clicks away – take a moment to read through my reviews and gain a sense of my collaborative and results-driven approach. As an experienced UX professional with an in-depth understanding of the industry and its rapid evolution, I provide tailored guidance that is tailored to each mentee's unique needs. My approach combines targeted advice with constructive feedback, empowering individuals to take ownership of their professional growth and achieve their long-term career aspirations.

During a typical mentoring session, we'll start by reviewing the goals that we set during the previous session and discussing any progress made since then. From there, we'll work together to plan out the steps that need to be taken between now and the next session. This includes identifying any roadblocks or difficult topics that need to be addressed and developing strategies for overcoming them. Each session lasts for 30 minutes, and our focus is always on providing targeted, actionable guidance that helps you move closer to achieving your career goals in the field of UX.

You can upgrade or downgrade your monthly plan at any time. The changes you make will be implemented at the start of the next billing cycle. You can also cancel at any time or pause mentorship for up to 30 days.

I accept a wide range of credit cards through Stripe's secure payment portal, making it simple and convenient for you to pay for your mentoring sessions. To ensure that our mentoring relationship continues uninterrupted, your credit card will be automatically charged at the beginning of each billing cycle.

I respectfully request at least 48 hours notice to reschedule a session. After the 48 hour window is closed, you forfeit your right to an alternate session. Because I have a limited number of slots, I strictly follow this policy. 

For subscription plans, rescheduled sessions cannot be banked beyond the time limit that the session is intended to be used, otherwise you forfeit your right to an alternate session. This means that for the Light plan, a session may be rescheduled within the same billing period, but not beyond. For the Standard plan, a session may be rescheduled within the same or following week, but not beyond the following week. For the Pro plan, a session may be rescheduled within the same week, but not beyond it.

In the event that you need to cancel a session within 48 hours of the scheduled time, you will forfeit the live session. This policy is in place to ensure that my time is respected, and to provide fair notice for me to fill the session slot with another mentee.

I offer the option to pause mentorship for up to 30 days. As a mentor with limited spots and high demand, I cannot hold a spot for more than 30 days, as this would prevent me from starting with new mentees as soon as possible. During the pause, I cannot provide email/chat support, as this is part of the paid service when the account is active, not paused. 

If you decide to pause, the days left in your billing cycle will be added on when you resume mentorship. For example, if you pay on the 1st of the month, pause on the 15th with approximately 15 days left in your current cycle, and return on the 10th, your next payment will be scheduled for the 25th.

You have the option to cancel your subscription at any time. If you choose to cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, and you will not be charged for any future payments.

To ensure the highest quality of service, mentoring sessions must be used within the billing period and cannot be carried over to the next. This policy allows me to provide comprehensive support through my offline services, such as email communication and artifact reviews, which are essential parts of the mentoring experience.
